If you will not have radiation because of the chances that it may destroy other body cells apart from the tumors, at least let the doctor try chemotherapy. If there is such a thing as a sure-fire breast cancer treatment, chemo is the closest to it. It has one problem, though; it is painful.
Radiation therapy is an attractive breast cancer treatment that a lot of women like for the condition. But if you have been treated by it before, it may not be so ideal. The doctor may then suggest other treatments, like chemo, for instance. As a contemporary society many of us simply want to take the time to be with our cherished ones while they get enthralled about face painting kits, face painting designs for kids and temporary body art all of us fully grasp that they will not necessarily be young forever for that reason we all wish to devote as much time with them as doable.
It is not strange to have women ask the doctor for breast-conserving treatment for their breast cancers. They do not like the idea of facing the world with only one breast. However, if treatments like that will not work, their doctors have to tell it to them and then offer other options.
Advanced breast cancers are often treated by chemotherapy. Most times it is not entirely to cure you, but to reduce the size of the tumor so that a more manageable surgical removal of it is possible. The fact that you may also lose some stem cells in your marrow may be a risk that you have to take.
You may want to try such breast cancer treatments as aromatase inhibitors and inactivators. They are hormone therapeutic drugs that suppress estrogen production by preventing the final step in estrogen synthesis. However, they are still in the test phase. Perhaps if you are patient enough, you may be one of their success stories.
In treating your breast cancer, you may want to decrease the level of fat and alcohol in your diet. These things, you must know, increase the risk of you catching the disease. Instead, you want to eat more fruits and vegetables, known to decrease your risk of cancer.
